Cellphone maker Apple may be working on its own search engine, to compete with its largest competitor search engine giant Google, as per reports.
Apple is likely to announce the new search engine next year in Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC 2023). The tech blogger named Robert Scoble has predicted that Apple may be launching its search engine to take on Google soon. In a series of tweets, Scoble said that the search engine by Apple will become functional by January 2023 at the earliest.
Apple is all set to start its keynote WWDC 2022 starting today. The tech giant is expected to launch iOS 16, iPadOS 16, WatchOS 9, macOS 13, and more software-based products soon. Apple is also rumored to launch realityOS software for mixed reality headset.
Also, Apple is likely to launch the new Apple M2 chipset during tonight’s keynote and introduce the next-generation MacBook Air laptop, along with a new Mac Mini model. MacBook Air and Mac Mini both are said to be powered by the Apple M2 chip.
